NEW: Speedify’s Performance Enhancing Proxy (PEP) significantly increases data transport throughput by overcoming limitations inherent in the standard TCP network protocol. By aggregating TCP acknowledgments and transferring larger chunks of data at once, PEP reduces the per‑packet processing overhead that limits performance. The result is dramatically higher peak throughput, especially for downstream client traffic, and lower utilization of the router’s processing capacity at equivalent speeds.
NEW: Speedify’s Jitter Buffer smooths out uneven internet performance by adding a small, controlled delay that delivers data with consistent timing. This new feature sets a buffer on the Speedify server to smooth out spikes in latency or periods of lost packets to ensure there is time to go back and call them again. It can be set and added for destinations via Port, IP Address, and Domains. For streamers using RTMP, this offers robustness similar to SRT. For LiveU users, the default ports of 9000-9010 are enabled so that LiveU sees the X510 as a stable connection regardless of spikes in latency.
NEW: Failover w/ Local Load Balancing. This new mode intelligently monitors your WAN connections for super fast failover. Your connections will also load balance based on the set priority. For example, all connections set to Primary will load balance across each other. Should all of the Primary sources fail, connections set to Secondary would then load balance until the Primary connections return. Failover happens near instantly. This mode is different than channel bonding, which creates one connection to the server and packets are reassembled on their arrival. Streaming applications should still use bonding while load balancing can be great for all other traffic. Load balancing is also direct to your ISP so there is no encryption or blocked connections from the bonding VPN.
NEW: Individual connection speed tests. Perfect for when you want to know exactly what a connection can provide without having to change your adapter settings.
Version 2.0 represents a drastic increase in the capability and flexibility of the Miri X510. For example, companies who did not want to bond all network traffic — possibly to avoid employee issues with sites that block VPN traffic — will no longer have this issue when using the local Load Balancing mode. With Speedify now adding PEP, performance of the router has increased significantly; some users have reported up to a 30% increase in total speed. The new jitter buffer is perfect for those streaming via the RTMP protocol over challenging internet connections, as it creates a super-smooth connection to reach destinations that don’t directly support the newer SRT protocol. Finally, running individual speed tests is easier than ever, eliminating the previous need to change connections between backup and primary to test specific links.

New Features:
Added the ability to change 4G & 5G APN settings.
Added a new device screen time out feature where you can now set screen to go to sleep at set interval. To set this, swipe right in the front screen and tap “Settings” then scroll down to the bottom. You now have options for Never, 15 Minutes, 30 Minutes and 1 Hour. To wake the screen up, simply tap it.
Bug Fixes:
Rolled back WiFi module driver to address an issue where you were unable to connect to the access point in environments where there was a lot of interference.
Device screen now goes off for 1 second every 10 minutes to discharge static electricity which was building up and causing the screen to become unresponsive.
Adjusted fan speed algorithm.
Fixed a WiFi driver issue to improve the connection performance.

Improved connections where a captive portal was detected.
Reduce high CPU usage when downloading torrents through Speedify.
